Children Swim Buddies Programme

“A Nurturing Journey - Learning an Invaluable Life Skill”.

Swim Buddies children’s programme is a unique ‘Learn to Swim Program’ designed by Sarah Lynch for children from the age of 3 to 12 years. It is delivered by Sarah and her Team of highly qualified and experienced instructors.

The core ethos of Swim Buddies is to give each individual swimmer the best learning experience possible. Swim Buddies creates a safe, fun & friendly learning environment where all children can learn at a pace that suits them as individuals. The caring and kind nature of the Swim Buddies Teachers makes for a special learning experience on your child’s Learn to Swim Journey. The focus of each lesson is based on teaching children to love the water while being safe in and around it through developing a wide range of aquatic skills.

Sarah and her team are passionate about ensuring that all children have a fun, enjoyable experience during their Swim Buddies lesson. Swim Buddies lessons are carried out on either an individual 1:1 basis or on a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio of swimmer to instructor. This ensures an effective learning environment where the instructor is completely concentrated on the pupil(s) for the duration of the lesson. The instructor builds a strong relationship with their swimmers to ensure they can teach them at a pace that suits each child’s needs.

The Swimmer’s Journey

Swim Buddies Children’s programme is dedicated to ensuring that each child receives the best and most enjoyable experience on their Learn to Swim Journey. The main focus of Swim Buddies is to pass on a lifelong skill. We believe it is one of the best gifts you can give your child.

On this journey parents begin to understand that becoming comfortable & competent in and around water takes time. Our team works with each child at a pace that suits their individual needs, while over time growing into confident swimmers.

Consistency and patience are two main components to ensuring a child learns in the correct way. It is a common occurrence that children will plateaux from time to time and this can happen at any level and will differ from person to person.

But, it is all part of the learning journey.
