Swim Camps

Our Swim Camps run over the Easter and Summer school holidays (July only).

Swim Buddies Children’s Swim Camps run over the Easter school holidays and for the month of July in Ocean Fitness. Our camps are swim specific and are suitable for children from the age of 4 up to 12 years. We take swimmers from complete beginner level up to intermediate swimmers working on improving their strokes.

The main aim of our swim camps are for each child to have a fun, positive and uplifting experience while learning the fundamentals of swimming (floating, submersion, balance etc.), improving their swimming skills/strokes and learning to become confident, competent and most of all safe in and around the water.

All Swim Buddies instructors work regularly with children on an individual basis and bring this element of teaching into the group setting. Our groups sizes for the swim camps are kept small with 5 swimmers in our beginners groups to one teacher and a maximum of 8 in our intermediate/advanced groups. 

The intensity of being in the pool each day and the repetition of new skills over the week is a fantastic way to see children make great improvement in a short space of time, while having lots of aquatic fun.

Safety & enjoyment are the priority for all swimmers over the duration of our swim camps.

Term 1

Easter Swim Camp

  • Week 1 – Monday 26th – Friday 30th March 2018 (5 day Camp)
  • Week 2 – Monday 3rd – Friday 6th April 2018 (4 day Camp)

Term 2

Summer Swim Camp

  • Week 1 – Monday 9th – Friday 13th July 2018 (5 day Camp)
  • Week 2 – Monday 16th – Friday 20th July 2018 (5 day Camp)
  • Week 3 – Monday 23rd – Friday 27th July 2018 (5 day Camp)
